Admire Henry VIII’s magnificent Great Hall and the surviving Tudor Kitchens, and explore the Baroque palace built alongside by William III and Mary II.
For most people it's hard to think of Hampton Court Palace without thinking of Henry VIII. While you're here, you can visit Henry VIII's Apartments and the Great Hall, where Anne Boleyn - his second wife - danced with him. You can also pay the Kitchens a visit and hear all about how the royals lived an absolutely excessive life style.
The splendid apartments of William and Mary in the Baroque Palace date from the late 17th century when they ruled jointly. From the apartments there are spectacular views of the gardens. You can explore the 60 acres of beautiful palace gardens that run down to the River Thames. You’ll see sparkling fountains and glorious seasonal displays of hundreds of thousands of flowering bulbs.
